In the workshop 2023 our main concern is to know African blackwater rivers very well.The vast expansion of rivers and fishes in Africa always attracts scapers to know more about the ancient formation of deepest riverways. Display set up and live up is included after lunch.Later we discus about the variety of African branches,Leaves,Twigs hand botanicals.

This year mostly african set up and dry fecal materials are on display.There are two tanks for better understanding.African peatbog is introduced for keeping the pH low, and nutrient rich soil forming from fecal materials is the important topic.It is a good session for new scapers who loves this kind of unique style of mysterious nature aquarium designs.

Importance of Blackwater biotope aquariums is discussed in the workshop.Mostly south east asian rivers,swamps are on focus.Some scapers added few feedback and got many answers which is going to help them.Diversity of aquatic and semi aquatic plants make this kind of set up unique.One 2 feet cube tank is there with tint light fixture for representing southeast asian wood and aquatic botanicals.

This is the first blackwater biotope based workshop in India.Mostly aquatic botanicals and dry materials from South american region is picked to show models of river basins.Specific hard barks and twigs pieces are in a display tank.One live set up s done with red rio sand,leaves,seeds and pods.Two variety of slender branches are also there. Aquarists joined this workshop to learn and to experience rare blackwater materials and designs.
